Grassroots Organizing: Building a Movement from the Bottom Up

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Empowering the community to take action is the fundamental key to making justice work - our movement is nothing without people. Whether you’re an experienced organizer or a first-time activist, your energy and passion is the link between ordinary people who care about the issues and our movement as a political force. In this interactive workshop, we will explore the oldest form of political action in America, and share tips and techniques for activating the public one by one. The time is now, all the community needs is permission to act, so let’s lay it on the masses and get them off their asses!
